What’s on Tonight: KIDS VS. ALIENS (2023) — “Fuck Space!” — Streaming on Shudder

Director Jason Eisener's (“Treevenge” short film, Hobo with a Shotgun, "SLUMBER PARTY ALIEN ABDUCTION" segment in V/H/S/2 (watch below), and Vice TV’s hit “Dark Side of the Ring”) newest horror/sci-fi movie Kids vs. Aliens releases in Theaters, On Demand and Digital on January 20, 2023, from RLJE Films and Shudder (streaming date TBA). Eisener co-wrote the Halloween-set film with John Davies (Hobo with a Shotgun).

SYNOPSIS: All Gary wants is to make awesome home movies with his best buds. All his older sister Samantha wants is to hang with the cool kids. When their parents head out of town one Halloween weekend, an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.

Kids vs. Aliens is the latest collaboration between Bloody Disgusting, Cinepocalypse, and Studio71, who jointly produced V/H/S/94 and V/H/S/99. It stars Dominic Mariche (“Are You Afraid of the Dark?”), Phoebe Rex, Calem MacDonald, Asher Grayson Percival, and Ben Tector.

More Violent and Brutal Ghostface in SCREAM VI (2023) Trailer and Poster

This is unlike any other Ghostface. After the release of the Halloween filled teaser trailer last month, check out a more violent and brutal Ghostface in the Official Trailer for Scream VI released today. The movie is slated to be released into theaters by Paramount on March 10th, 2023.

Scream VI follows the four survivors of the Ghostface killings from the previous film, Sam (Melissa Barrera), Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy-Brown), and Chad (Mason Gooding) as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York.

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are back directing with James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick co-writing the screenplay. Other returning actors/characters include Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) alongside new cast Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. Neve Campbell will not return to the series this time.

Original Scream writer Kevin Williamson told SyFy Wire, “[The film] doesn’t feel like ‘Part 6,’ it feels like you’re watching this big, huge, fresh reinvention. I love, love, love, love it." He adds, "I’ve watched the movie with a big smile on my face. I think it’s everything and more. And going to New York was awesome. The movie feels new, it feels fresh, it feels like a new movie.”

Speaking with ET Online Jenna Ortega tells the outlet, “I will say there’s so much going on in this next one, that it’s so action-heavy and so gore-heavy that I think you’re gonna be distracted almost.” Ortega had previously told ET Online that Scream 6 features “probably the most aggressive and violent version of Ghostface we’ve ever seen.”
