Where To Watch A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Franchise (1984-2003) Streaming + Japanese VHS Covers

VHS sticker by @vinylhellstickerco buy at vinylhellstickerco.bigcartel.com:

In honor of Robert Englund's birthday today, I'm gonna see how long I can stay awake watching A Nightmare on Elm Street movie marathon on VHS. I have all the films on official VHS releases except A New Nightmare which I recorded on a bootleg VHS from when I ordered it on Pay Per View way back when it was released, probably in 1995. And I have Freddy VS Jason on DVD.

Part 2 is actually my favorite. I always thought Freddy and the music/sound effects in part 2 were way more scarier then they are in the other parts of the franchise. Japanese VHS covers below from nightmareonelmstreetfilms.com. I also included where to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise and Freddy's Nightmares TV series streaming online with links from JustWatch.com:

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) 3 VHS covers:

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) 2 VHS covers:

A teenager moves into the former home of Freddy Krueger and begins experiencing terrifying visions as the dream-stalking killer trys to possess his body to continue murdering in real life. Krueger decides haunting dreams isn’t enough anymore—so he tries to crash the real world using a very stressed-out teenager as his personal getaway vehicle.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) 2 VHS covers:

A group of teens in a psychiatric hospital discover they can harness special abilities within their dreams to battle the deadly dream stalker Freddy Krueger. The teens finally learn the best way to fight Krueger—by turning their nightmares into superpowers and giving the dream demon a taste of his own medicine.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) 1 VHS cover:

A shy teen who gains the power to pull others into her dreams becomes the latest target of the resurrected dream killer Freddy Krueger. No matter how many times you defeat him, Krueger just refuses to stay dead—or let anyone get a good night’s sleep.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989) 1 VHS cover:

Alice discovers the resurrected Freddy Krueger is invading her unborn child’s dreams to return and continue his deadly reign. Krueger will stop at nothing to haunt your dreams—even if it means starting with the next generation before they’re even born.

WHERE TO WATCH  Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)  STREAMING:

WHERE TO WATCH  Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)  STREAMING:

The line between fiction and reality is blurred as Freddy Krueger escapes the screen to terrorize the real-life actors who brought him to life. Even nightmares can get meta—Freddy’s not just in your dreams, he’s reading your script too.
