Jack-O's Review: "A wild dark comedy about a dysfunctional family with gore, cannibalism, (not real fake) animal cruelty and sex in a coffin that culminates with a stomach turning twisted dinner on Halloween night. Horror legend Lynn Lowry kills it as the bat shit crazy mother. Pancho Moler plays a fun character and has one of the best lines in the film. The Halloween vibes are not strong as in no decorations, but the cast wears costumes in the end and two trick or treating girls have a funny line in the finale." ★★★ @trickhorrortreater

"...it does occasionally get a bit too weird and deliver a twist that’s just too hard to accept. But it just moves on to the next bit of weirdness and keeps going as it heads towards the titular feast that forms the film’s emotionally and physically bloody finale. The cast is all good, but Lynn Lowry steals the show as the psychotic Angela..." ★★★★ VoicesFromTheBalcony.com
"Top marks to writers, Guile Branco and Arthur McClen, for presenting a fresh new fear film. A Halloween Feast is a mean meal that will be devoured by horror films. The script presents plenty of twists and turns that keep the viewer glued to the screen. Each performance is played with professional passion, with the iconic Lowry portraying a psychotic mother with an award-winning caliber performance. Gorehounds will be barking in ecstasy as Branco does not hold back on some terrific kills. A Halloween Feast is the perfect course to be savored anytime of year." Scream Score: 8/10 Horror-Nation.com
"a mess! but a bloody fun mess. if you’re trying to find logic here, you will hate it! some parts are hilarious (specially whenever grandma was on screen) while some parts lacked a bit of energy to match the non-stop craziness of the plot. you can see lynn lowry is having so much fun. legend." ★★★ vampiregirl2002 at LetterBoxd.com
"[A] Halloween Feast takes you on a hilariously eerie journey with a family grappling with their mom's midlife crisis. It kicks off with an unforgettable dinner where she accidentally serves up a side of chaos by lopping off Dad's finger—talk about a family meal gone wrong! From there, things spiral into madness as the family scrambles to figure out what’s bubbling beneath her increasingly bizarre behavior. As the eerie celebration unfolds, it climaxes in a Halloween Feast no one will want to miss! Not only are the guests creepy, but some of them are about to become the main course. Get ready for a wild ride filled with gut-busting twists and chilling surprises that will make you laugh and squirm in equal measure! You’ll never guess what happens next!" ★★★★ abbiedawn at LetterBoxd.com
"Saying a lot, with many independent Horror films being more misses than hits lately, A Halloween Feast is actually a unique take on the Horror genre. From the dialogue exchanges, lighting and music, to everything else mentioned, all of it comes to gather surprisingly well. Above all, the story is a testament to the fact that you never really know the inner workings of an unhinged mind; especially when triggers exacerbate the mania. Even Horror fans who have been desensitized by the gruesome images that have marched across screen for so many decades now will find something to enjoy here. After all, many can relate to dysfunctional family dynamics, and with that, easily envision one of the ‘members’ going off the deep end. Simply well-done and enjoyable, A Halloween Feast is a must seem with Cryptic Rock giving it 5 out of 5." ★★★★★ CrypticRock.com
"When researching the film for reviewing purposes I noticed that several of the reviews submitted by IMDB users were strongly in favour of A HALLOWEEN FEAST which has done little to boost up its current average score of 3.8/10. Within the user reviews there is one that is damning of anyone that dares to say that this film is rubbish... So, when I read that ‘review’, which is not really a review but a slight cast towards others for daring to leave an honest critique that rubbishes A HALLOWEEN FEAST then I can only reason that someone has taken the low-scoring reviews personally. Regardless of budget if I watch a film and that film does not hit the marks they set out for themselves, and instead deliver a film as dull and lifeless as this then people are allowed to point that out. A HALLOWEEN FEAST is not very good at all. The cast look to be having a lot of fun in front of the camera, it’s just a shame that this fun does not transfer over to the viewer." Rating: Bad 1.0 out of 10 MyBloodyReviews.com
"Lynn Lowery is a horror legend, having starred in George Romero’s The Crazies and David Cronenberg’s Shivers. Recently I was given the opportunity to check out one of her latest films, Guile Branco’s A Halloween Feast... was a very pleasant surprise... I really appreciated how the film almost felt like a horrific murder filled soap opera but filled with humor and interesting characters. Everyone is connected in some way and it leads to some really fun interactions and some really shocking twists and revelations. The film is well written, has some great dialogue and is intricately plotted without becoming too convoluted. The special effects are executed well and the kills are wonderfully staged, leading to one hell of a conclusion... A Halloween Feast is a hell of a debut for director Guile Branco. He makes the most out of a talented cast playing an interesting group of characters, delivers a story full of twists and turns and delivers the red stuff in spades. I highly recommend A Halloween Feast for your Halloween viewing." PopHorror.com
"From the mind of director and co-star Guile Branco and Arthur McClen comes one of the wackiest horror-comedies of the year... there are some fun kills, including the use of a decapitated head as a weapon. And if that’s not bad enough, the titular Halloween feast is something that will be one of the most unforgettable with some jaw-dropping twists and an amazing finale!... A Halloween Feast is a treat that must be seen by fans of horror and dark comedies. Lynn Lowry is at her finest in one of her juiciest roles. The third act is one of the most unforgettable and has to be seen by lovers of the genres." WFG RATING: A WorldFilmGeek.com
