In addition to the David Bruckner-directed film that was announced earlier this month, Deadline now reports tonight that Hellraiser is also getting a TV series courtesy of HBO! David Gordon Green ( Halloween, Halloween Kills) is directing the pilot and "several more initial episodes," and Michael Dougherty ( Trick 'r Treat, Krampus, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) is on board to write alongside Mark Verheiden ("Battlestar Galactica," "Heroes")!

SYNOPSIS: A baby sitter is stuck watching over a young brat on Halloween night who keeps playing vicious pranks on her. To add to her trouble the boy's deranged father has escaped from an asylum and is planning on making a visit.
