What's on Tonight: 10/31 PART III (2022) on Digital/Blu-ray + Reviews

Terror Films will release 10/31 Part III to Digital on September 29 and a Blu-ray release is available now at Scream Team Releasing. 10/31 Part III is of course a sequel to both 10/31 (2007) and 10/31 Part II (2019).

Returning host Malvolia the Queen of Screams brings you four more twisted creepy tales of mummies, madmen, and fun-sized demons. Michael Ballif unravels horror in the ‘House of the Mummy’; Jacob Perrett discovers evil waiting in a couple’s new home in the ‘Lock Smith’; Brad Twigg shows you why you should leave your creepy neighbour alone in ‘Old Man Gross’; and Zane Hershberger plays with demonic objects in ‘Hack-in-the-Box’.”

Also features faux movie trailers – ‘The Slaughter’ (Shawn Burkett), ‘Night of Halloweenies’ (Jonathan Patrick Hughes), ‘Radio Tower Road’ (Jed Brian), ‘Candy Killer’ (Dustin Ferguson), and ‘A Stranger’s Treat (Rocky Gray).”

Producer and composer Rocky Gray says, “I am super proud of the cast and crew of 10/31 Part 3! From the faux trailers to the main segments, everyone brought their A-game and I think they have developed some great Halloween horror fun, and a few scares as well.”

Directed by Michael Ballif, Jed Brian, Zane Hershberger, Jonathan Patrick Hughes, Jacob Perrett, Brad Twigg, and Jennifer Nangle. Written by Michael Ballif, Jed Brian, Rocky Gray, Zane Hershberger, Jonathan Patrick Hughes, Todd Martin, Jacob Perrett, Taylor Rhoades, Melissa Sapienza and P.J. Starks. The film stars James Morris (They Live Inside Us), DéRome A. Chrétien, Sable Griedel, Jordan Beltz and Jennifer Nangle.

Reviews:

” …Ballif captures the essence of Halloween and offers something that becomes quite violent […] Perrett’s ‘The Locksmith’ feels like it’s lifted out of the Giallo era of cinema, and while supremely gory, it also has a bit of tension throughout. ‘Hack in the Box’ from Zane Hershberger is, well pretty insane […] Gray has shown once again he can pull together a great group of filmmakers to make another Halloween tradition for horror fans.” Bloody-Flicks.co.uk

” …as the title already suggests, it’s supposed to be Halloween entertainment and thus offers a box of horror candies (plus fake trailers) from various corners of the genre. And even if the segments vary in style and approach, they’re all done by genre-savvy directors, and all deliver pretty awesome horror entertainment…” SearchMyTrash.com

“The segments mostly play it safe, sticking to more conventional plotlines and carrying them off efficiently. Unfortunately with the stories covering very similar ground, this installment really needed a couple of fresh ideas. The bloody practical effects and, as with the previous films, a great score by Rocky Gray (They See You, The Barn Part II) help make up for that, but while it’s still worth seeing, this could have been better.” ★★★ VoicesFromTheBalcony.com
