2018 indie horror/comedy/suspense anthology Dead by Midnight (11pm Central) presents six stories directed by Torey Haas, Tony Reames, Eric Davis, Jay Holloway, and Anissa Matlock. Now you can watch the first two episodes for free at you42.com, as well as on the You42 YouTube Channel.
The first episode, “Dead Air,” stars cult movie icon Erin Brown as the Mistress of Midnight, and Hannah Fierman (V/H/S and Siren) as TV producer Candice Spelling. Watch below after the synopsis...
“Dead Air” SYNOPSIS: It’s Halloween at WKIZ when the malicious Mistress of Midnight arrives to host her annual horror movie marathon, Dead by Midnight. When the WKIZ staff begins disappearing only to turn up in the increasingly darker films, it’s up to line producer Candice Spelling to stop the Mistress of Midnight before her final and most diabolical film goes to air.
The second segment, “Jersey Devil,” was written by and stars Davi Crimmins, co-host of The Bert Show, a nationally syndicated morning radio show. Below is the synopsis and segment...
“Jersey Devil” SYNOPSIS: Police believe a serial killer is stalking women in the remote area of New Jersey known as the Pine Barrens. Local waitress Dani discovers that the truth is something far worse.
