Here are a stills from all the shorts/segments in the film, taken from the director's social media pages.

This first set is by Taylor & Matthew McManus @lunarlightcinema for their segment called "EJECDEAD" a slasher-comedy that follows a group of friends who stumble upon a mysterious VHS tape, unknowingly unleashing a malevolent force tied to the dark history of Camp Dead End. As they embark on a seemingly innocent Halloween movie night, their encounter with the cursed tape connects them to the resurrected killer, Elias Kane.

This second set is for Dylan R. Nix's @archicoproductions segment which is called "Haig's Heart" and is about Sam Haig, the owner of Rubber Ball Chocolates, who decides to give all of his candy away on Halloween...but his motivations might be haunted by something dark and mournful.

Ryan Sheets' @southridgefilms new short focuses on a man who’s bitten by some kind of creature on his walk home.

Here's the first look at Dustin Ferguson's @dustin.ferguson.18 short called "The Witches Curse."

Reviews:

” …Ballif captures the essence of Halloween and offers something that becomes quite violent […] Perrett’s ‘The Locksmith’ feels like it’s lifted out of the Giallo era of cinema, and while supremely gory, it also has a bit of tension throughout. ‘Hack in the Box’ from Zane Hershberger is, well pretty insane […] Gray has shown once again he can pull together a great group of filmmakers to make another Halloween tradition for horror fans.” Bloody-Flicks.co.uk

” …as the title already suggests, it’s supposed to be Halloween entertainment and thus offers a box of horror candies (plus fake trailers) from various corners of the genre. And even if the segments vary in style and approach, they’re all done by genre-savvy directors, and all deliver pretty awesome horror entertainment…” SearchMyTrash.com

“The segments mostly play it safe, sticking to more conventional plotlines and carrying them off efficiently. Unfortunately with the stories covering very similar ground, this installment really needed a couple of fresh ideas. The bloody practical effects and, as with the previous films, a great score by Rocky Gray (They See You, The Barn Part II) help make up for that, but while it’s still worth seeing, this could have been better.” ★★★ VoicesFromTheBalcony.com

HAUNTEDWEEN 2 Indiegogo Campaign Launched

Director, editor and creator of 42ND street films, Dustin Ferguson, is making a sequel to 1991’s HauntedWeen with production expected to begin in August. He's now launched an Indiegogo campaign trying to raise money for the film. However, if it doesn’t hit its goal, it will still get made. Click on the link below to view all the perks and the campaign video:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/hauntedween-2/:

Campaign Video:

A few paragraphs from the campaign page:

The original HauntedWeen was a 1990’s cult classic that featured an intoxicating blend of Kentucky fried comedy and horror. It ended, like all good horror films, with the promise of a sequel.

Twenty five years later, indie filmmakers Dustin Ferguson (Cheerleader Camp to the Death), Dorothy Booraem (Wake the Witch), and Chad Haufschild (Blood Rites) are teaming up with Doug Robertson (Hauntedween writer/director) to produce the sequel that retro horror fans have been dying for – Hauntedween 2!

The finished product will be a 70-80 minute feature available on VHS and DVD by Halloween of 2015. The movie will be shot in the style of the original film, with maximum gore, humor and country fried local actors and locations. Several well known actors from classic 80’s & 90’s horror films are in talks to play key roles as well.

Watch an edited version of HauntedWeen (1991) on YouTube here presented by Horror Hosts called Reel Freaks. Here is the trailer and a couple of scenes from the original 1991 horror cult classic:
