What's on Tonight: A CREEPSHOW HOLIDAY SPECIAL

A CREEPSHOW HOLIDAY SPECIAL premieres today, December 18, on Shudder. In the holiday themed, hour-long episode, “Shapeshifters Anonymous,” fearing he is a murderer, an anxious man searches for answers for his “unique condition” from an unusual support group.

Starring Anna Camp and Adam Pally, the special is written and directed by Creepshow showrunner Greg Nicotero, based on a short story by J.A. Konrath. (Also available on Shudder Canada, Shudder UK and Shudder ANZ)

Check out the trailer below. Werewolves and Killer Santas, this looks so much better than the shitty Creepshow Halloween/Animated Special-- hope it doesn't disappoint.

CREEPSHOW TV SERIES (2019) Trailer #2, Featurettes and Stills

New trailer #2 and featurettes for CREEPSHOW (2019), a Shudder original series that premieres on the streaming service Thursday, Sept. 26. I grew up watching and love the original 1982 film and 1987 sequel and will be subscribing to Shudder specifically for this show. Based on the iconic 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero, comes a new horror anthology series from the mind of The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero. Creepshow stars David Arquette, Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Bell, Big Boi, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Bruce Davison, Giancarlo Esposito, Dana Gould, Tricia Helfer and DJ Qualls.

Official Trailer #2:

Executive producer Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) was inspired to become a filmmaker after an early visit to the original Creepshow (1982) set. Now he's resurrected the franchise as a new Shudder original series. Go behind the scenes to discover how Creepshow brought Nicotero's professional life full circle and why the the show is a tribute to the late, great George A. Romero. Look for a short scene from the Halloween episode at the 3:53 mark of the video below.

Behind-the-Scenes Featurette:

Some of the writer and directors behind Shudder's new Creepshow series are veterans of George Romero's films, while others are new to the Creepshow world. Meet some of the show's "new blood"—directors Roxanne Benjamin (Body at Brighton Rock), David Bruckner (The Ritual) and Rob Schrab (Community), and authors David Schow and Joe Hill... though of course Joe has a history with the franchise that predates his career as a writer.

Behind-the-Scenes Featurette #2:

Adrienne Barbeau, Tobin Bell, Giancarlo Esposito, David Arquette, Tricia Helfer, DJ Qualls, Dana Gould and Jeffrey Combs all share what it was like to work with executive producer Greg Nicotero on Shudder's new Creepshow series.
