LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL (2023) Poster and Full Teaser on TV's Spookiest Night

“On Halloween night 1977, America gathered around for a live TV event that shocked a nation. What happened was real. What you’re about to see is the recently discovered master tape of what went to air that night. Tune in, freak out.”

Yesterday a teaser trailer for Late Night With the Devil was released that looks like an old late night TV spot from the 1970's. Today IFC Films released the bonkers full teaser. Watch both below.

IFC Films & Shudder will theatrically release Late Night With the Devil on March 22 before it streams exclusively to Shudder on April 19, 2024. The Ghostwatch (1992) and WNUF Halloween Special (2013)-inspired Halloween-set horror film was praised by Stephen King, who called it “Absolutely Brilliant.”

SYNOPSIS: October 31, 1977. Johnny Carson rival Jack Delroy (David Dastmalchian) hosts a syndicated late night talk show NIGHT OWLS that has long been a trusted companion to insomniacs around the country. A year after the tragic death of Jack’s wife, ratings have plummeted. Desperate to turn his fortunes around, Jack plans a Halloween special like no other, unaware that he is about to unleash evil into the living rooms of America.

Written and directed by Cameron Cairnes and Colin Cairnes (Scare Campaign; 100 Bloody Acres), the film stars David Dastmalchian (Dune, The Suicide Squad), Laura Gordon, Ian Bliss, Fayssal Bazzi, Ingrid Torelli, Rhys Auteri, Josh Quong Tart, Georgina Haig, Steve Mouzakis, Gaby Seow, Christopher Kirby and Paula Arundell.

    1. Yeah that's a cool bumper. Although the longer you look at the more it looks like it was AI created.
