HORROR SECTION "SEASON OF THE WITCH" 7" Vinyl
Horror-pop-punk powerhouse HORROR SECTION's concept-record “Season of the Witch” is a tribute to the often underappreciated, always underestimated horror classic Halloween III. The record comes in three jacket variants, based on masks from the film, and each variant contains a corresponding color vinyl. With artwork by @rat_king_co and overall concept by singer/songwriter/art director/all around dude @teflondave27.
Around eight months ago, the first initial run of 300 copies sold out in 38 minutes. Eccentric Pop Records had severely underestimated how many people would want this record. They left themselves a buffer of around ten copies to make sure to not oversell the record. These 10 sets will be posted to the Eccentric Pop store Thursday at 6pm eastern - after that, these are out of print. Though a 2nd pressing is already in the works. Check out the music video below with movie clips from HIII: SotW set to HORROR SECTION's song THEY'RE COMING.

That's a great song, love it. I'm listening to the full album now. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteI am really loving that album, probably their best. It was extra cool to realize there is a Halloween III themed song on there!
DeleteVery cool post. (And one of my Favorite "Holiday" films as well)
ReplyDeleteThanks Doc. It's my 2nd favorite Halloween flick after Trick 'r Treat.
