In the new Chucky television series, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos after a vintage 'Good Guy' doll turns up at a suburban yard sale. Soon, everyone must grapple with a series of horrifying murders that begin to expose the town's deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. Meanwhile, friends and foes from Chucky's past creep back into his world and threaten to expose the truth behind his mysterious origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

Chucky is produced by UCP and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, and Alex Hedlund. Harley Peyton will also serve as executive producer. Mancini, who penned the film franchise, wrote the television adaptation, will direct the first episode, and serves as showrunner.

Brad Dourif returns as the voice of Chucky and maybe a few flashback scenes as seriel killer Charles Lee Ray? Actress Jennifer Tilly is also set to reprise her role as the doll's lover, Tiffany Valentine. Other returning actors from the franchise include Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle, and Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce.

  1. Will it stream on Hulu or anything? I cut cable like a year and a half ago, so no SYFY access any more.

    1. That sucks. I googled it, the results say you can watch new episodes of the series via the Syfy or USA channels on Hulu Live at 10 pm every Tuesday. I'm not sure if this is correct because I don't have Hulu. I also noticed it's on play.google.com but it costs $1.99 each episode or $14.99 for the full season. You should check Hulu first of course. It was a pretty good first episode. :)

  2. I downloaded the USA app, it seems free to watch there. At least the first episode.
