Halloween Franchise Japanese DVD/BLU-RAY covers
Halloween (1978) (ハロウィン) DVDs:
Halloween (1978) follows a masked killer, Michael Myers, who escapes a mental institution and returns to the quiet town of Haddonfield on Halloween night to stalk babysitter Laurie Strode.
Proof that sometimes the scariest monster isn’t the one who runs—it's the one who calmly walks after you and somehow still catches up.
Halloween II (1981) (ハロウィンII) DVD:
Halloween II (1981) continues the same terrifying night as Michael Myers stalks injured survivor Laurie Strode through the dark halls of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital.
Because apparently if surviving one encounter with Michael Myers wasn’t exhausting enough, you also have to spend the rest of the night checking every hospital hallway and hot tub.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) (ハロウィンIII) DVD:
Halloween III: Season of the Witch follows a doctor and a young woman who uncover a sinister plot by the Silver Shamrock Novelties company to use Halloween masks and a deadly TV signal to carry out a mass sacrifice on Halloween night.
It’s the only Halloween movie where the scariest thing isn’t Michael Myers—it’s a catchy commercial jingle you’ll never get out of your head.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) (ハロウィン4 ブギーマン復活) DVD:
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers brings Michael Myers back to Haddonfield as he awakens from a coma and hunts his young niece Jamie Lloyd on Halloween night.
Because apparently, even after years in a mental institution, Michael never misses a chance for a family visit—just with more knives.
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) (ハロウィン5 ブギーマン逆襲) DVD:
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers continues the saga as Michael Myers returns once again to hunt his traumatized niece Jamie Lloyd while Dr. Sam Loomis desperately tries to stop him.
Because in Haddonfield, family drama isn’t about fights—it’s about running for your life, screaming nonstop, and sometimes ending up wrapped around a tree.
Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) (ハロウィン6 最後の戦い) Blu-ray:
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers reveals a dark cult conspiracy behind Michael Myers as Dr. Sam Loomis and a now-grown Tommy Doyle try to uncover the evil force driving him.
Because after six movies, the only thing more complicated than stopping Michael is explaining his mythology.
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) (ハロウィンH20) DVD:
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later reunites Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, who has been living under a new identity while Michael Myers escapes custody to hunt her down once more.
Because after two decades, Laurie proves that you can run from your past—but you can’t dodge evil when it returns with a knife.
Halloween: Resurrection (2002) (ハロウィン レザレクション) DVD:
Halloween: Resurrection follows a group of college students who participate in a live internet reality show inside the old Myers house, only to discover that Michael Myers has returned home.
Because nothing says early-2000s horror like webcams, reality TV, and the unfortunate discovery that Michael Myers does not care about your streaming schedule.
Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) (ロブ・ゾンビ ハロウィン) DVD:
Halloween (2007), directed by Rob Zombie, reimagines the classic story by exploring the troubled childhood of Michael Myers before he escapes and returns to Haddonfield to stalk Laurie Strode.
Because when Rob Zombie remakes a horror classic, you don’t just get Michael Myers—you get a louder, meaner, and much dirtier version of him.
Rob Zombie's Halloween II (2009) (ロブ・ゾンビ ハロウィンII) DVD:
Halloween II (2009), directed by Rob Zombie, continues the brutal aftermath of Michael Myers’ rampage as a traumatized Laurie Strode struggles with the psychological scars while her masked brother returns to Haddonfield.
Because in Rob Zombie’s world, surviving a slasher isn’t a happy ending—it’s just the beginning of costly therapy sessions filled with nightmares about white horses.
David Gordon Green's Halloween (2018) (デヴィッド・ゴードン・グリーン ハロウィン) Blu-ray:
David Gordon Green's Halloween (2018) (デヴィッド・ゴードン・グリーン ハロウィン) DVD:
Halloween (2018) reunites Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, who has spent forty years preparing for the inevitable return of Michael Myers after he escapes from custody.
Turns out holding a grudge for four decades is totally justified when the guy chasing you is Michael Myers.
Halloween Kills (2021) (ハロウィン KILLS) DVD:
Halloween Kills picks up immediately after the events of 2018’s Halloween, as Michael Myers continues his rampage through Haddonfield while the town bands together to fight back.
Proof that in Haddonfield, keeping watch isn’t optional—it’s a desperate last stand where evil dies tonight.
Halloween Ends (2022) (ハロウィン THE END) Blu-ray:
Halloween Ends brings the saga to a close as Laurie Strode confronts Michael Myers and his new deadly protege, Corey Cunningham, in a climactic showdown that ends decades of terror in Haddonfield.
Because after more than forty years of running, hiding, and evading the shape of evil, Laurie shows that patience, family, and a well-placed knife can deliver a brutally effective conclusion.
