What's on Tonight: VIOLENT NIGHT (2022) is Now Available To Stream at Home

Tommy Wirkola‘s action thriller comedy Violent Night made $55 million at the box office when it released in theaters early Dec. 2022. But if you don't want to go to the movies, the film can now be streamed in 4K Ultra HD to buy for $24 or to rent for $20 on Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV.

IMDb SYNOPSIS: When a group of mercenaries attack the estate of a wealthy family, Santa Claus must step in to save the day (and Christmas).

The film is described as a bloody mix of several holiday classics including Die Hard, Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa, and stars David Harbour (Stranger Things) as St. Nick. John Leguizamo, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Edi Patterson, Cam Gigandet, Leah Brady, and Beverly D'Angelo also star.

Joe Bob celebrates Christmas 2022 the drive-in way, complete with The Last Drive-In’s third annual holiday auction with proceeds going to charity. And who knows, this year’s double feature might even include a Christmas horror or two...I'll update this post with the two films shown later tonight.

Hint: it's 1 UK flick + 1 Canadian flick — any guesses? 🤔 My guess UK... Don't Open Till Christmas (1984)? There's two Canadian flicks on Shudder right now, it's either going to be... The O.G. Black Christmas (1974) or maybe my favorite Christmas film A Christmas Horror Story (2015)?

SCREAM VI (2023) Takes Place on Halloween in New York City

In a city of millions, no one hears you scream. The new poster and teaser trailer for Scream VI (2023) has Ghostface masks and other horror movie Halloween costumes (Chucky, Tiffany, Babadook, Jason, Pinhead) on full display on the New York City subway system. The film hits theaters March 10, 2023. Check out Ghostface's weathered mask in the pic at the bottom of the post.

SYNOPSIS: The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.

Radio Silence's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, directors of Scream (2022), return to direct a script penned by James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick.
