VHS SYNOPSIS: Half man, half beast, he lurks inside the mansion killing all one by one as he follows the murderous instincts of his twisted mind. A macabre tale of three young people who spend a night in mysterious Garth Mansion as part of their initiation into Alpha Sigma Rho fraternity and its sister sorority. The murderous history of the mansion not only would make anyone shudder, but would keep anyone miles away from the place...who will live to tell about hell night.

Hell Night is a 1981 American independent horror film directed by Tom DeSimone, written by Randy Feldman, and starring Linda Blair, Vincent Van Patten, Peter Barton, Kevin Brophy, Jenny Neumann, Suki Goodwin, Jimmy Sturtevant, Hal Ralston, Carey Fox, Ron Gans, Gloria Heilman and Jean Hasselhoff. The film blends elements of slasher flicks and Creature Features, and has developed a large cult following. Linda Blair was nominated for a Razzie Awards for Worst Actress. The characters never mention anything about Halloween, but they're are all wearing costumes, so I like to think it takes place on All Hallows Eve.

The movie was released to VHS in the USA by Media Home Entertainment in 1982, followed by a Video Treasures VHS release in 1988 and then Anchor Bay Entertainment, Inc. released the film both on VHS and DVD in 1999. In 2003 Anchor Bay released the film on a Double Feature DVD along with the 1980 film Fade To Black.
