Watch HALLOWEEN TRASH O RAMA Video Mixtapes

Two great Halloween Video Mixtapes by Austin Popdan. The first Halloween Trash O Rama video mixtape was released in 2016. In 2017 Austin started a series also called Trash O Rama of themed video mixtapes. The 13th episode of the series is the 2017 Halloween Special. Watch both Halloween versions below and then check out the whole Trash O Rama series at Austin's Internet Archive account under the user name JamesBatman.

SYNOPSIS: SEE! A leprechaun killing someone with a pogo stick! SEE! A robot space gorilla shooting lightning from his fingers! SEE! R.L. Stine trying to act! This video mixtape is 31 minutes of spooky trailers, commercials, movie/tv clips and music videos. Featuring music from AC/DC , Type O Negative, The Dickies, Rob Zombie and even Detroit's heavy metal horror show Halloween!

2016 Halloween Trash O Rama Video Mixtape:

SYNOPSIS: Welcome one and all to Trash-O-Rama, my 40-50 minute series of themed video mixtapes inspired by the likes of Forbidden Transmission and the Hypnotic Eye. For those unaware a video mixtape is the "best parts" of movies, tv shows, music videos, commercials or whatever edited together in a certain fashion.

Today's episode is a very special one for it's marks Trash-O-Rama's first Halloween special! In our longest episode yet, expect Boris Karloff, heavy metal, Vincent Price, Hallmark commercials, gore, nudity and the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers battling a rapping monster with an upside down pumpkin head!

20 Alternative Films for Halloween Night

20 Alternative Films for Halloween Night

Every year, sites like this one like to run their own take on the ultimate and comprehensive list of seasonally-appropriate flicks to watch on Halloween. If you’re someone like me who’s a little tired of the norm, and of reading through lists that have John Carpenter’s Halloween as the inevitable number one, here’s a list of obscure, unknown, or less obvious choices to watch on Halloween night after the sun has set and the trick-or-treaters have disappeared (hopefully the non-lame ones who knocked on doors instead of peering into car trunks)....

Pre-order 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS (2017) on VHS

Here’s the official word:

Videonomicon asks you to take off your mask, pick up that candy, and get ready for a Halloween-themed horror anthology unlike anything you’ve seen before!

After stumbling upon the graves of three murdered trick or treaters, a small town paperboy discovers a series of handwritten horror stories tacked to the children’s headstones. Penned by a deranged pulp author driven mad by his craft, the stories chronicle grisly tales of Halloween rites, rituals, and traditions.

Absent of dialogue and heavy on atmosphere, Torin Langen’s 3 DEAD TRICK OR TREATERS is an engrossing visual feast that turns the genre on its head and offers terror and suspense amongst the blood and candy corn!

Exclusive VHS release specs:

  • Limited to 25 hand-numbered copies on black VHS with one randomly inserted Halloween orange VHS tape!
  • BONUS “Walrus – Close My Eyes” Music Video directed by Torin Langen and Trailer included after the feature!
  • Includes liner notes by Videonomicon’s Tyler Baptist!

Release date is this Halloween, Tuesday October 31st, 2017, with pre-orders going live a few days before on Friday, October 27th at 10AM CST. Check out 3 Dead Trick or Treaters trailer, scenes and posters here

Watch HORROR REMIX HALLOWEEN Video Mixtape

A Triple Feature Crammed Into 2 Hours with lots of fun extras and animated shorts. Hosted by puppet MCs, Cheesecake and Thunderclap. Rated R.

Featuring the following three shortened films:

Hack-O-Lantern (1988) AKA Halloween Night This gem falls into my favorite category of the horror genre: PUN horror. When the title of the film is a pun, without exception, wonderful 80s fun awaits (I'm looking at you Killer Workout, Iced, Hide and Go Shriek). Hack-O-Lantern gives you everything you want in an obscure horror film and more.

Night of the Demons (1988) This film will probably be remembered for being one of the last good horror films of the 80’s. I imagine if you’re reading this, you’ve at least heard of it. They made a trilogy and a straight-to-DVD remake surfaced in 2009 that I also love but nothing beats the original. When Night of the Demons is developing the characters, it falls into the cliches of 80s-ness which is perfect. And when it tries to be creepy, it succeeds. The effects are great and the soundtrack is even better.

Hollow Gate (1988) I like to imagine back in 1986, a young Ray Di Zazzo said, ‘Fuck it. I’m making a movie.’ He creates Hollow Gate and then disappears. Whether the director leaves showbiz because they created their masterpiece the first go-round or realized they were over their head and walked away. Either way, we win. So, which category does Hollow Gate fall in, masterpiece or mess?

There are 2 versions, my version is below (from vimeo.com) followed by the original version (from archive.org) underneath. In my version, I added new animated shorts and changed the opening scene but the remix version of the 3 films are the same. Rated R for nudity, graphic language and violence.
